Terms & Conditions
By completing the form below, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement. Please read and understand them completely before proceeding. Once you do so, this Agreement will automatically become effective (the “Effective Date”).
Your Song
- You permit 8D Records to release your song worldwide on our record label.
- We will release the song as 8D Music featuring you, for example – Bad Habits (8D Audio) – 8D Music, Ed Sheeran.
- The song(s) will be released on digital download and streaming services and sites listed here.
- If artwork for your song is not submitted by you, 8D Records will provide artwork on your behalf.
Earnings and Revenue
Standard Option:
- You will receive 70% of all streaming revenue from your song.
- To receive your earnings, you will need to sign up for a Distrokid account. For more info click here.
- Payments will be made to you by Distrokid.
Premium Option ($30):
- You will receive 100% of all streaming revenue from your song.
- Your song will be included on our 8D network of streaming stores, which is proven to increase streams, and added to our 8D Music playlists.
- Fast-track release: Your song will be uploaded within 1 week.
- To receive your earnings, you will need to sign up for a Distrokid account. For more info click here.
- Payments will be made to you by Distrokid.
Additional Terms
The duration of the song that you submit must be at least 60 seconds, as streaming services will not accept songs that are less than 60 seconds. If you submit a song that is less than this duration, you will be required to send another song, and your release will be delayed.
